The Grand Traverse Yacht Club was formed in 1960 to draw together those who share an enthusiasm for boating and the Grand Traverse Bay. Largely a sailing club, the summer schedule of racing becomes the centre of club activities on Wednesday and Thursday nights and for featured weekend regattas. With a cruising fleet, under both sail and power, you can explore the Great Lakes and beyond. Youth sailing is supported through a long-standing partnership with Traverse Area Community Sailing.
