Sheboygan is a major international destination for competitive sailing and for powerboat training. It is home to one of the four US Sailing Centers and the only one on the Great Lakes. Sheboygan Yacht Club has 58 slips and several are usually available for transient sailor. SYC hosts many family and social events throughout the year. Any season is beautiful for a gathering near the lake.
