Manistique MI is a small town located on the north coast of upper Lake Michigan. It is the only major port along the north coast between the entrance to Green Bay and the Straits of mackinac. Manistique is an excellent harbor offering good, all-round protection under all weather conditions. It is a good place to layover and the town offers most of what a cruising sailor could need. It is a pretty place to visit.
