Fish Caught: other fisherman had caught some brown trout, saw 6 fish
Fishing Trip Quality: Slow

The weather during the past few days had been in the upper 20's and the lower 30's. I arrived at the marina in Kenosha at 7:30 am, about 10 minutes after sunrise. Several brown trout had already been caught during the morning bite at first light. Most of the fish had been caught using brown trout spawn for bait. Two of the fish were caught using shiner minnows. As the sun rose in the sky the action slowed to a stop. The bright sunlight with no snow cover on the ice put the fish into a negative feeding mood. Most of the other anglers started packing and leaving. I decided to change locations and left for Northpoint Marina.
